Prof. Krista Muis’ digital literacy research helps children separate facts from fiction online by identifying credible information sources, using better search techniques, and improving cognitive skills. By collaborating closely with students and teachers, Muis’ research has the potential to inform curriculum reform and educator workshops across Canada, helping strengthen digital literacy skills among youth as young as nine.
