The 91ɬÂþ Office of Religious and Spiritual Life (MORSL) has been housed at 3610 McTavish since 2020. Previous locations include the Presbyterian College, the Newman Centre and the Student Services building, where MORSL has adapted to a wide variety of space configurations throughout its long history at 91ɬÂþ.

Built in 1941, the building was originally a 33-unit apartment complex before 91ɬÂþ bought and refurbished it in 1964.

Architecturally, the building features a recurring ship motif with porthole windows, an art deco sailing mural in the lobby, water lilies in the lobby's terrazzo floor, a dock mooring post reference by its entrance and an allusion to a ship’s smokestack by its roof.

Today, the building is home to MORSL, which occupies a suite on the third floor. The MORSL office retains its apartment layout and many period features such as high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout, including in its meditation and spirituality space. You can also see the nautical motif repeated in the original fireplace surround in the MORSL interfaith lounge, occupying what was once a parlor, and adding to the cozy home-like atmosphere.
