EAST 216 001 Introduction to Global Asia – 2 TA positions at 150 hours/each – Instructor: Professor Guojun Wang

Position Summary:Ìý

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, hosting and facilitating discussions in-person and/or on Zoom with small groups of students; grading of assignments; attending lectures and reading course materials; communication with students regarding MyCourses, submission of assignments, other tasks associated with the position/course, etc.

Qualifications:
Registered graduate student (M.A. or Ph.D.) at 91ɬÂþ. Must hold a B.A./B.A. Honours in Chinese Studies or equivalent.

Hourly rate: $38.46 (effective August 2026)

Position Start Date: August 31, 2026

Position End Date: January 5, 2027

*International studentsÌýmust have a valid study permit, social Insurance number (SIN), and Canadian bank account.
