Academic Advising

Advising and Department OrientationÌýÌý

Take advantage of the expertise available to you—connect with your department or faculty advisor early in your studies and each year thereafter. Advising will help you make informed decisions about courses, clarify academic and career goals, and navigate challenges with confidence. Seeking guidance is a proactive step toward making your university experience more focused, efficient, and rewarding.

At the beginning of each academic year, during Orientation Week before the start of the Fall semester, all newly admitted students must attend a mandatory orientation session hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering. This session will introduce newly-admitted students to the undergraduate program, key personnel in the department, and undergraduate student leaders. It will also give students the opportunity to hear about the services and extracurriculur activities available to them while studying at 91ɬÂþ.

Documents shared with students at the most recent departmental orientation session may be found at:ÌýInformation for Newly Admitted Students | Civil Engineering - 91ɬÂþ.
