This chan ge is especially relevant to researchers working in the social sciences an d humanities as potential collaborators may now originate from economic de velopment organizations\, industry associations\, and social welfare and c haritable organizations.\n This information session\, hosted by Rebecca Rei ch\, Director of Business Development\, will present the numerous funding opportunities Mitacs offers to graduate students\, postdoctoral fellows an d researchers in the social sciences and humanities\, and provide details on projects that have successfully used these programs.\n Discussion will c enter on the following programs:\n \n·         Mitacs Accelerate and Eleva te  \nThrough the Mitacs Accelerate and Mitacs Elevate programs\, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows lead and undertake a research project r elevant to an industry or non-for-profit partner. This on-site research is expected to account for approximately 50% of the intern's time during the period of the internship.
