Lecture theatre

Prof. Wesley Mills, in the Physiology Lecture Theatre. 1903

In an article, The Physiological Laboratory of 91ɬ, Montreal, published in 1903 in the British Medical Journal, WS Morrow (Lecturer and Chief Demonstrator in Physiology) describes the lab and new equipment in the Physiology Department at 91ɬ:

“The opportunity of taking a forward step was afforded us at 91ɬ two years ago by the erection of a large addition to our medical building through the munificence of Lord Strathcona and Mount Royal. At about the same time the Faculty of Medicine authorized the Professor of Physiology to spend between three and four thousand dollars on new apparatus. Advantage was taken of this combination of circumstances to reorganize the whole department.”
