We can't wait to come together\, once again\, to celebrate YOU and y our many contributions!   \n\nBased on your feedback expressing that what you want most is to connect with colleagues\, we have put the focus back o n in-person activities.  \n\nHere are the activities our dedicated volunte er committees have in store for you: \n  \n\nMONTREAL \n\nWhen: June 17\, f rom 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.\n Where: Students’ Society of 91ɬÂþ Ballr oom\, 3480 McTavish Street\, 3rd floor \n\n\n REGISTER NOW\n\n\nWhat: In-pe rson gathering with: \n\n\n Plant giveaway: We are once again partnering wi th Macdonald Campus Farm to give away 200 free plants to the first 200 att endees – first-come\, first-served.  \n Refreshments: Back by popular deman d – Les Baristocrates! Our fave baristas will delight you with a selection  of specialty coffees\, teas and viennoiseries (one per person). \n Photobo oth: Gather your team and your work pals for a keepsake snap commemorating the day. \n Therapy dogs (10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.): 91ɬÂþ’s Student Wellness Hub Animal Therapy (SWHAT) will be on hand with Nellie (female Lab) and B uddy (male Golden) for some doggie snuggles. \n Gentle yoga (11:00 – 11:30 a.m.): Our Academic Affairs colleague and 91ɬÂþ Athletics yoga instructor  Lili Ospina will lead a Gentle Yoga Session\, a mixture of standing poses and seated poses on a chair\, ending with a guided meditation (more detai ls below). \n \n Registration is closed for this session\, as maximum capaci ty (30 people) has been reached. Thank you for your understanding. \n \n \n M editation/wellness activity (9:30-10:15 a.m.): Join us for a guided breath ing and meditation session led by Johanne Houle\, Director\, 91ɬÂþ Organi zational Development. Registration required. Max capacity of 40.  \n Energy  bar workshop (9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.): Our colleagues at the School of Nutri tion will show you how to make a nutritious and protein-packed energy snac k (Tiramisu energy-protein balls). Registration required. Max capacity of 70.\n Hangout zone with card games: Seating will be available for you to re lax and catch up with colleagues or meet new ones – and maybe win a hand o f UNO!  \n  \n\n\nGATINEAU \n\nWhen: June 22\, from 12 – 3 p.m.  \n Where: P icnic spot by the Ottawa River\n What: In-person gathering\n Picnic: \n\n\n A  convivial gathering in a lovely location on the banks of the Ottawa River \, organized by the Campus Outaouais Social Committee  \n Lunch from St-Hub ert will be provided  \n We will have games (Mölkky\, Frisbee\, bean bag to ss and badminton) – feel free to bring your own games from home! \n Please note: In case of rain\, the activity will be transformed into a board game activity at the Pédago Café. \n\n\nPlant giveaway: Please note that the g iveaway of plants from Macdonald Campus Farm took place at Campus Outaouai s on May 28. \n\n \n\nBoth campuses: Prize draw \n\nA draw for prizes from  Hotel Omni Mont-Royal\, Zante Restaurant\, 91ɬÂþ Faculty Club and 91ɬÂþ Athletics (and more!) will be held at the Montreal event at approximately 11:30 a.m. with names of all FMHS admin and support staff from both campu ses  entered. Winners will be contacted by e-mail post-event.  \n\nWe hope you can join us in Montreal or Gatineau.  \n\n \n\nAdditional information :  \n\nPhotography  \n\nPlease note this event will be photographed and th e photos may be used on our FMHS social media accounts as well as in our p hoto gallery on Health e-News. If you would prefer not to have your photo taken\, we kindly ask that you advise the photographer present.  \n\nGentl e Yoga Session full description \n\nFormat: Inclusive\n\nFacilitator: This session will be guided by 91ɬÂþ alumna Liliana Ospina\, 91ɬÂþ Athletics Fitness and Yoga Instructor with over two decades of teaching experience. As a staff member within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences\, Li li helps advance the collective vision—together for better health. Drawing on her passion for holistic well-being\, Lili believes that incorporating simple wellness strategies into our daily routine can enrich our lives an d enhance our human experience. \n\nDescription: Join us for this Gentle Y oga Session to learn the foundational principles of mindful movement. In t he midst of demanding schedules and fast-paced environments\, true wellnes s begins with intentional pauses that honor the body's innate need for rec overy. Infused with mind-body integration techniques from Hatha Yoga\, thi s session serves as a conscious 'reset' button. Through accessible\, low-i mpact stretches and focused breathwork\, we will gently move the body to c ultivate a deeper inner connection\, allowing you to experience how a gent le\, sustained yoga flow can counteract fatigue\, enhance clarity\, and fo ster long-term resilience.
