 se Git and GitHub. Attendees will learn the value of using Git in their lo
 cal projects and how to complement it with GitHub for reliable code sharin
 g and maintenance as well as efficient collaboration.   At the end of this
  workshop\, participants will be able to:Grasp basic theory and features b
 ehind Git and GitHubKnow how to manage local and remote repositoriesBegin 
 collaborating with others over GitHubPre-requisites:Prior experience with 
 the Unix command line.**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Attendance for graduate students
  and postdoctoral fellows is subsidized by Graduate and Postdoctoral Studi
 es. All other attendees such as undergraduate students and interns are req
 uired to purchase a ticket to cover organizational and staffing costs. To
