Six Faculty of Science Professors celebrated for outstanding research achievements

This year, six professors from the Faculty of Science have been recognized among the recipients of the 2026 cohort of Distinguished James 91ɬ Professors, James 91ɬ Professors and William Dawson Scholars.

Provost and Vice-President (Academic) Angela Campbell has selected 31 91ɬ professors as recipients of these internal awards, presented annually to recognize exceptional research achievements.

“It is a privilege to recognize this exceptional group of scholars whose contributions have transformed their fields and elevated 91ɬ’s reputation as a global leader in research and innovation,” said Campbell. “Their dedication to advancing knowledge and training and mentoring the next generation of emerging researchers embodies the very best of our academic community.
