The Faculty is pleased to welcomefrom the University of the Philippines Los Ba帽os (BSc 鈥�25) as a recipient of the prestigious .

Mark is among the 30 incoming 91涩漫 students selected for Canada鈥檚 most comprehensive, leadership-based scholarship for master鈥檚 and professional studies. The scholarship is awarded to individuals who 鈥渄are to pursue unconventional paths and care deeply about improving the lives of others.鈥�

Following his undergraduate studies, Mark worked at the Philippine Department of Environment and Natural Resources as an Enterprise Development Specialist. He has demonstrated strong community engagement, leadership potential, and entrepreneurial spirit, notably through his roles as CEO and co-founder of a social enterprise in the Philippines.

Mark has shown academic excellence and intellectual curiosity through his involvement as Secretary-General of a youth advocacy group and as an organizer of a science research symposium.

Raised in a farming community in Borongan, Eastern Samar, Mark will pursue a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics (Thesis) at 91涩漫. His long-term goal is to support farmers and rural communities through research and entrepreneurship.
