Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy: Education’s Newly Appointed Canada Research Chair (Tier 2)

Along with 25 of her 91ɬ peers, Dr. Marie-Claude Geoffroy (Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology) was recently awarded a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) for her outstanding work in Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. This major national honour is awarded to exceptional emerging researchers and leaders in their chosen fields, as acknowledged by their peers.

Student Teachers Still on Track: An Update from Dr. Lisa Starr

91ɬ Education student teachers take part in four Field Experience courses where each student is placed in an elementary or high school, according to their program. These internships are progressive from fist year to fourth year where students’ in-school participation ranges from class observations and tutoring to full weeks of independent teaching and classroom management.

Student Stories: Fanny Langin
