Macromodeling is an important technique in circuit modeling where the frequency domain data su ch as Y or S-parameters describing the port-to-port relations of the syste m are used to generate a black-box model for simulating the system. Macrom odeling naturally encourages and synergizes with modular system design lea ding up to a system wide simulation through combination of individual mode ls\, giving great importance to the circuit model property of passivity wh ich guarantees stability to combination of sub-models if the sub-models we re passive. Passivity enforcement thus became necessary to perturb non-pas sive models to become passive\, and this thesis present new flexible ways of error control for the enforcement process related to gramian based erro r control. Another direction of interest for macromodels is the parametric extension to the modeling process where variability with respect to one o r more physical property of the system can be included in the macromodels\ , allowing adjustment of the model with respect to key parameters without having to generated fresh port data repeatedly. This thesis presents two n ovel parametric macromodeling methods in the Loewner Matrix framework.\n DTSTART:20231030T140000Z DTEND:20231030T160000Z LOCATION:Room 603\, McConnell Engineering Building\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H 3A 0E9\, 3480 rue University SUMMARY:PhD defence of Yi Qing Xiao – Advanced Macromodeling in the Loewner Framework URL:/ece/channels/event/phd-defence-yi-qing-xiao-advan ced-macromodeling-loewner-framework-352217 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
