The 91ɬÂþ Division of Clinical and Translational Research (formerly Experimental Medicine) is home to 380 graduate students pursuing MSc and PhD degrees in clinical and experimental research environments. In addition to the Division’s core MSc and PhD programs, students will soon be able to select specialized concentrations in Digital Health Innovation (DHI) and Clinical Research (CR). The Division of Clinical and Translational Research is currently led by a Director, Prof. Andrew Mouland, an Associate Director, Prof. Elizabeth Fixman, and an Acting Associate Director, Prof. Robyn Tamblyn. Administrative support for the Division is provided by two student affairs coordinators and one student affairs officer. This call is for applications for the position of Associate Director for the DHI and CR concentrations.

You will oversee the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of the Digital Health Innovation and Clinical Research concentrations. Through your leadership of the DHI and CR concentrations, your responsibilities will include the implementation of policies and procedures that align with Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) regulations and integrate with the established practices and procedures of the Division’s core graduate programs where appropriate, including:

  • student recruitment
  • student admissions
  • student progress tracking
  • student supervision and mentorship
  • graduate tracking and program evaluation
  • curriculum design
  • online program development
  • residency program liaison
  • marketing and promotion

Applicants should have experience in academic leadership, graduate teaching, supervisory roles and be a team player. The expected time commitment for this role is 0.5 days/week. Reporting is to the Director of the Division of Clinical and Translational Research.
