Teresa Strong-Wilson (Professor, Department of Integrated Studies in Education) has received $155,478 in funding through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) for the 91ɬ�� Journal of Education. The competition, which runs every three to four years, supports a select number of 91ɬ�� journals.

The Daniel and Monica Gold Centre for Early Childhood Development provides funding for graduate students and researchers in the Faculty of Education to support their research in Early Childhood Development (e.g. social-emotional, cognitive or physical development, neurodiverse learning, clinical assessment, innovative educational approaches). Through their work, award winners will generate and share evidence-based knowledge to support young children and their families, advancing the Centre’s objective to help all children get the best start in life.

The Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) announced recipients of the latest Partnership Engage Grants competition, including a total of $73,782 awarded to three 91ɬ�� researchers, one of whom is the Department of Integrated Studies in Education's Joseph Levitan. Partnership Engage Grants provide short-term and timely support for partnered research activities between researchers and single partner organizations from the public, private or non-profit sector.

That’s the question that led 91ɬ��’s Faculty of Education to make well-being in education a strategic priority and create the Regulating Emotions and Stress for pre-Service Teachers Program (RESST), with the support of the Rossy Foundation.
